Independent contractors are self-employed. In exchange for a fee, independent contractors enter into a contract with Central Florida Care Group, Inc. to provide services to its customers.Independent contractors are not placed on an employer’s payroll. Instead, the independent contractor invoices or file claims to Central Florida Care Group, Inc. and is paid according to the Claim Processing Calendar. Central Florida Care Group, Inc. does not deduct federal, state, or local taxes from the payment, and the independent contractor is solely liable for all tax requirements. All income earned within a calendar/tax year must be reported to the independent contractor as well as the federal government .on form 1099-MISC.
As an independent contractor, you work for yourself and are responsible for verifying your business's income as a business owner. Central Florida Care Group, Inc. can provide you with, a copy of a standard Provider Independent Contractor verification letter. Please make timely requests - all requests will be processed within one week.
