We are currently hiring For:

Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA)

Central Florida Care Group, Inc. is currently looking to hire Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work in many of our residential sites. As a Certified Nursing Assistant you will be working with the elderly and disabled adults in their homes. You will be responsible to providing a clean and safe environment.

Certified Nursing Assistant provides hands-on personal care, performance of simple procedures as an extension of the therapy or nursing services, assistance in ambulation or exercises, and assistance in administering, medications that are ordinarily self-administered.

Skills and Qualifications:

Creating a Safe, Effective Environment, Health Promotion and Maintenance, Nursing Skills, Health Care Administration, Patient Services, Verbal Communication, Listening, Training, Dependability, Emotional Control, Medical Teamwork.

  • Must meet Medicaid/Medicare Conditions of Participation for Home Health Aide training program and competency

  • Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly.

  • Ability to carry out directions, read and write in English.

  • Nursing assistance experience, preferred.

  • Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.

  • Nursing assistance experience, preferred.

  • Bilingual (Spanish), a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Understands and adheres to established Agency policies and procedures.

  • Performs personal care and bath as ordered.

  • Completes appropriate visit records in a timely manner as per Agency policy.

  • Reports changes in the patient’s condition and needs to the RN.

  • Performs household services essential to health care in the home as assigned.

  • Ambulates and exercises the patient as assigned.

  • Performs simple procedures as an extension of the therapy services, e.g., range of motion (ROM) exercises as assigned.

  • Assists with medications that are ordinarily self-administered as assigned.

  • Attends in-service and continuing education programs as scheduled and necessary.

  • Attends patient care conferences as scheduled.

Requirements:

  1. Home health aide or certified nursing assistance: 1 year

  2. Reliable transportation

  3. Current CPR certification

  4. Must have Malpractice Liability Insurance

  5. Physical Exam – within one year and must state free of communicable diseases.

  6. TB Results – within the last 6 months

In-Services required to be up to date:

  • CPR/First Aide

  • HIPAA

  • O.S.H.A

  • Infection Control

  • HIV/AIDS

  • Patient Rights

  • Domestic Violence

  • Alzheimer’s and Dementia

  • Medical Errors

Required Qualifications (Check List):

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Must be dependable, punctual and trustworthy.

- Ensure confidentiality and security of clients personal information

(medical, banking etc.).

- Team Player and Flexible.

- Must be eligible to work in the United States of America.

- Have a Smart Phone.

- CPR/ First Aide Training.

- HIV/AIDS Training

- HIPAA Training Certification

- Infection Control Training

- Alzheimer's/Dementia training.

- O.S.H.A.

- Patient Rights

- Must have valid Florida driver’s license, with an acceptable driving

record.

- Have your own reliable transportation, registration and insurance

liability coverage.

- Must pass criminal background check. (Level 2 Background Screening

[Federal]).
