the Benefits They Are Eligible For.

Central Florida Care Group, Inc. and American Veterans Care Connection (AVCC) have partnered to assist veterans and their surviving spouses to get nonmedical in-home care they need through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Pension with Aid and Attendance benefit.

What is the Pension with Aid and Attendance Benefit?

The Pension with Aid and Attendance benefit is a pension amount issued by the Veterans Administration that allows for eligible veterans and their surviving spouses to get assistance in nonmedical in-home care services.

Central Florida Care Group, Inc. and our team of professional caregivers will create a care plan that is individually customized based on your needs, and match you with a caring caregiver. All of our caregivers go through extensive interviews, background checks and training, and are insured/bonded to ensure our clients get the right care, when and where they need it.

If eligible, you may qualify as of 2018, the actual amount you’re eligible to receive is as follows:

Annual maximum for a Veteran: $21,961

Annual maximum for a Veteran who’s married: $26,035

Surviving spouse: $14,112

 

for home care services such as:

- Companionship

- Meal preparation/feeding

- Laundry

- Light housekeeping

- Grocery Shopping/errands

- Transportation

- Medication reminders

- Assist with Bathing/hygiene/grooming

- Mobility assistance

- Toileting and incontinence care

American Veterans Care Connection assists veterans and surviving spouses in obtaining the Pension with Aid and Attendance benefit. They simplify the complex process, and can often help to get care started immediately.
